What is a Crepe Myrtle?

Crepe Myrtles have colorful flowers that are good with hot and cold temperatures. 

Some crepe myrtles are classified as shrubs because they are more compact and have smaller branches, while trees have one long trunk with large leaves.

Natchez crape myrtles are 20-30 feet tall and 20 feet wide when left untrimmed. These trees are great at adding privacy and have pretty white flowers.

Also known as Lunar Magic crape myrtle,   this shrub will grow 6-10 feet tall, and be 4-8 feet wide.  The rich green leaves are shaded with red and have pure white blooms.

This crape myrtle has fire-red flowers and grows to be about 10-15 feet tall and 12-20 feet wide

Ebony flame crape myrtles grow 10-12 feet tall and 8 feet wide making them smaller than the Dynamite Red crepe myrtle. They have dark black foliage and intense red flowers. Best for smaller landscape areas.
